We are now 1 week away from dress rehearsal for A View of the Harbor, and only 10 days out from Opening Night. The production crew has begun moving the set into Liberty Hall in preparation for Saturday’s technical rehearsal. In addition to our work on A View of the Harbor, we are also looking ahead to shows later in the season, as well the following season. Costume sketches for Bad Dates were due on Monday, as were final costume designs for our next production, Tranced. Our administrative staff has begun to lay out the calendar for the 2009-2010 season, and the artistic staff is considering scripts for next season as well.
If you don’t already have tickets to A View of the Harbor, we have several great ticket deals you may want to take advance of. The first preview (Thursday, Jan. 8th) is Pay What You Will Night. The first preview also features the Director’s Dialogue, in which director Charles Towers will discuss the production and take questions from the audience.
The first Saturday evening performance of the run (Jan. 10th) is Lowell Night. 3 hours prior to the show, Lowell residents can purchase tickets for $10 (cash only) with a valid ID.
January 14th will be Wine Lover’s Night, which is a pre-show wine tasting event by Stonehedge Inn. For ticket information, call the MRT box office at 978-654-4678.
