CASTING FOR MRS. WHITNEY

CASTING FOR MRS. WHITNEY

Headshot & Resume Request for MRS. WHITNEY by John Kolvenbach. Directed by Kyle Fabel. Artistic Director: Charles Towers. At: MERRIMACK REPERTORY THEATRE, a LORT D Theatre in Lowell, Massachusetts (25 miles northwest of Boston).

Important Production Dates
First Rehearsal: February 21, 2012
1st Tech: March 11, 2012
First Preview: March 15, 2012
Open: March 18, 2012
Close: April 8, 2012

Available Roles:

Margaret Whitney: mid-to-late 50’s. A self-described romantic, though her outlook (and humor) is wry. While she remains the same attractive woman she was in her 20’s, she has grown lonely, and is setting off to find her ex-husband, 25 years-estranged.

Tom Whitney: late 50’s – early 60’s. A self-destructive alcoholic of great humor and charisma. He is in the process of actively alienating his fifth wife when Margaret, his first and best, shows up.

Francis: late 50’s – early 60’s. Sad. Dry. Funny. Unhappily married. In love with Margaret.

Louisa: late 30’s -early 40’s. Tom’s fifth wife. On her way out. Fed up, but still in love and trying to hold on. A bundle of contradictions. And like everyone surrounding Tom, she has a smart sense of humor.
